Join JFS North Coastal Jewish Connections and the Anti- Defamation League for this CyberAlly workshop. This 2 hour interactive training for middle school students provides practical information and opportunities for skill-building that will support students in developing personal strategies for protecting themselves against cyberbullying as well as acting as cyberallies—preventing and taking action against cyberbullying and social cruelty in online forums. In their own break out session, parents will increase their understanding and awareness about the problem of cyberbullying, increase their ability to effectively discuss and respond to their children’s/teen’s experiences with cyberbullying, and gain the tools/skills needed to educate their children/teens in responding to cyberbullying and in being allies to others.
