Join us on June 28th from 11:30 PM - 2:00 PM for a Sunday Funday BBQ + Pop Goes the Culture in the Park!  

Who: Everyone is welcome!  Bring the dog, bring your kids, bring your friends!

What: Field games and fun.  Bring a ball and your hat, a blanket and lawn chair.  Come out to play and come hungry - we'll be serving up kosher hot-dogs and veggie burgers.  Bring a side dish to share!

What else: Pop Goes the Culture featuring Southern California artist Eileen Levinson.  Eileen Levinson is a designer & artist based in Los Angeles. Her work reimagines, celebrates, and at times critiques Jewish ritual for contemporary audiences.  In 2011, she created Haggadot.com, a website for Jews exchange and personalize content for the Passover Haggadah. The site has received attention on NPR’s All Things Considered, The Jerusalem Post , Ha’aretz, the Wall Street Journal & the Huffington Post. This summer, she is launching Custom & Craft, a similar collaborative website for Shabbat, weddings, and other Jewish lifecycle events.

In addition to her projects within the Jewish community, Eileen has served as Creative Director with Kin Community, a women’s-focused MCN on YouTube, since the brand’s launch in 2011. Eileen has an MFA from the program in Graphic Design at California Institute of the Arts, and BA from Washington University in St. Louis.
